Executive assessment and development for founders and senior leaders.
Clarity That Accelerates Growth
You're the one everyone brings problems to.
Your board wants results. Your team wants direction. And the harder the decision gets, the fewer people you can actually think it through with.
You've read the books. You've done the offsite. You may have worked with a coach who was encouraging, pleasant, and never told you anything you didn't already know.
What you haven't had is someone who can tell you, with evidence, what you're actually like to work with — and what that's costing you.
Most executive advice is a well-informed guess.
Ask any leader how they behave under pressure and you'll get their theory of themselves. It's sincere, and it's usually wrong — the traits that derail us are the hardest ones to see from the inside.
I'm a psychologist. Before we work on anything, I measure it.
Every engagement begins with the Hogan assessment suite, used by large organizations to evaluate senior leadership. It shows how you perform at your best, how you behave under stress, and what actually drives you. Then we work from that instead of from impressions.
You'll know where you stand in the first three weeks, not the sixth month.
I've been the one everyone brings problems to.
From 2012 to 2017 I oversaw a $50 million services budget delivered through 45 contracted providers. None of them reported to me. I held them to standard anyway — wrote the policy they operated under, managed the analysts who monitored them, and testified at state hearings when our decisions were challenged.
Influence without authority isn't a leadership concept to me. It was the job.
In 2018 I started over in Southlake with no clients and no staff. That practice is now ten clinicians across three locations. I've made payroll. I've hired people who didn't work out and had to fix it.
I'm also a licensed psychologist — doctorate from Alliant International University, twenty years spent assessing how people actually function under pressure rather than how they describe themselves. Assessment isn't intuition. It's a discipline with instruments, norms, and known error rates, and most people advising executives have never been trained in it.
Those two things almost never sit together. Most executive coaches have run something but can't read an assessment. Most psychologists can read an assessment but have never met a board, a burn rate, or a partner who stopped returning calls.
You get someone who can read the data and knows what the room costs. I'll tell you which instincts are strengths worth leaning on harder, which ones stop working the moment pressure rises, and what your team has probably stopped telling you.
I can tell you what the data says about you. I've also had to answer for what happens next.
